I Am From
I am from a soft comfy bed in my room
From the hornets nest above my front door and halls in my house
I am from the white house on my lonely street
With the feeling of happineness
I am from the plants on the side of my house
The big red tree on my yard
Whose long gone limbs I remember
As if they were my own.
I’m from board games and talking
From Lenore, Ray and Nick
I’m from eating to fast and standing close to TV
I’m from do your homework and safety
And always say please and thank you
I’m from eating Chinese food every Wednesday
I’m from Suffern and Italy
Pizza and ice cream
From Crawling to my parents
As a little kid
Me up to my brother’s waste in old picture
On the refrigerator.
