Money.
You’ll realize one day, that you’re worshipping gold.
And realize you’ve not listened to tales of old,
Where your purse will lead you to death.
Realize this day; greed cannot be your path.
Your path to folly is misgiven.
You cannot buy yourself to Heaven.
And yet I wonder,
Will my spirit cry in my thoughts of greed?
Or will love let overcome?
In my thoughts I see a new day,
And evil has gone.
The children play in the Bay.
The parents do not fear,
Evil is never near.
Your head is buzzing,
But it won’t stop,
Until you stop.
An’ your evil sins the worlds’ begotten.
