Thunder Storms
There's times where you look at yourself and can't stand the site,
There's times when you lay awake, can't sleep in the night.
Sometimes you just sit, drowning in your sorrow,
Sometimes it really hurts to compare yesterday and tomorrow.
The picture on you wall,
Sometimes tend to fall.
And memories start to fade,
The night you left you should've stayed.
You should've took the time,
You should've said what's on your mind.
Sometimes feelings just don't last,
Maybe there's no use dwelling on the past.
Don't keep it bottled up, it's time you finally cry.
It's like the first refreshing drop of rain in the desert, so harsh and dry.
So let it rain, let it pour, and feel free to wonder.
Accept that there'll be lightning, accept that there'll be thunder.
And never leave a question mark burning on your heart,
Cause the heartache in the ending could've been prevented from the start.
