Opitmisic Failure.
I never in my life-
mourned the time I spent alone.
Hungry, empty, jobless, lost-
or frozen to the bone.
Livining in the streets you see
is not as bad as some.
Like those struck with illness
and cry for God to come.
Shelters offer peace
when our nights are turned to chrome.
But even in my dreams
I never say "Welcome Home."
Homelessness is not picky
to any gender, age, or race.
For your tears as always same
upon another person's face.
