Lost and Found
I used to think I was lost in life
That I had stumbled down the wrong path
I felt so alone
Like there was no one else there
The path was worn
So overgrown, I couldn’t see
It was in a dark forest
Filled with sadness and despair
I had one flashlight with me
The hope that it would soon end
I couldn’t give up
Or I would be lost forever
The forest suddenly ended
The sunshine warm and comforting
I could see others traveling
Their paths right next to mine
I had found my path again
But I was never lost
Looking back, I don’t regret the way I went
It led me here
