It’s not abrasive, brash, tactless
Not a torrent streaming,
Screaming-
Violently and rashly-
It’s none of these.
Rather,
It’s a cool, cool river
Subtly smooth, rippling
While seamlessly working its course.
His fingers dance,
Sliding erratically, yet with utmost precision,
Down the fretboard, meandering
To release a piece of soul.
At the end, with applause
The river joins the ocean
And the piece creates the whole.

Wonderful, evocative language which allowed me to feel the emotions expressed in the poetry.
