Missing it
Dear Philly,
You have taken something from me.
Something I hold dear.
It has been a hole two years
Since I have seen it last.
I go through the same doors hoping that I will see it again
But, with looming disappointment over my head,
I am found without this feeling I once had.
No more against the wall
While watching passerby’s.
No more out of context thoughts and stories.
No one to fill in this gap.
Bring me back this idea, this closure, this way
This Life
Can never stop wishing you were here.
From the wishful hopeless one
