Heaven in Your Eyes MAG
You've erected an eternity,
i see,
of Irises.
ethereal halos of bright azure,
with the frailty of mortal love,
they Ascend like cherubs into Your
Elysian Fields
from the obsidian depths
of Dante's circular forest.
with Your trite glance,
blue moons chase the amaranthine
ends
of
rainbows,
as i meander toward Your sclerotic
Pearly Gates
like a soul, lost,
while Time stands perpetually still.
trapped in the ceaseless
cycles
of the blind bard's gaze,
i wonder when You will see
that i would forgo forever for a moment in Your heart.
