That Tiny Room
It starts
With the yelling and arguing
I run for my life
To that small little room
The only room in the house
Where there’s nothing to fear
The stand gleams brightly
From the sun
Pouring light through the single window
Music scattered all around
The violin shines
And begs to be touched
To take me away
To that world that I love
The strings are buzzing
With a sweet melody
And I begin my journey
Though no one can see
With each note
I go farther away
Where everything’s magic
And no anger is found
