So you thought you might like to pick up
The Rose With Thorns
The beauty is so appealing
But waiting are its hidden horns
That will make you bleed
From your unsuspecting finger
A punishment of foolish greed
That only releases anger
But as you will see
The rose can drive a man insane
As he tries to release her from her stem
And thaen comes the rain
That ruins the priceless gem

Well, I'm thirteen years of age
Living in a cage
Filled with desolation and grief
All my teachers love me
But my peers can't see
That I have turned a new leaf
Now, I'm not a 4.0
But my grades aren't low
They just aren't what they could be
But my worst enemies are
At the head of the class
So no one cares, no one even looks at me
They think I'm a genius
But they can't understand
All the envy I have inside
They think I am blessed
With wit and wisdom
But I have so much hate to hide
For everyoe who has it together
For everyone who has the tools
To succeed and excel
And I have none at all
But no one hears my calls
To help me up, for I have fell
