Waiting
You left me out in the pouring rain,
Waiting for you to come back and say
You’re sorry, and that you love me.
But that never happened,
I feel like it never will.
I should not have let you walk away,
I should have said something, done something.
But that never happened.
We should not have fought,
I thought it was a stupid fight like
The ones we always have.
It was not what I expected.
I thought it was going to be over within a few hours.
But that never happened.
I wonder what will happen.
But just so you know.
I still out in the pouring rain,
Waiting for you to come back.
But that never happened.
