Ordinary Walls
I'm just another body
a body of matter and mass
just another body
you push past
My name is uknown
to the brain that is homed
within your skull
Distracted by everyday things
I fade
into the normality
of day to day society
I speak my words
But who listens
To a neutraly
colord wall?
My thoughts dont scream out
to thoes who have the ability
to hear the thoughts that do,
I speak in a soft whisper
I speak my grandest thoughts
To my self,
to you.
But here you are not.
Im just a grey wall
In your home of life
Everyday you see me but theres nothing special
The other walls
That occupy this house
Are bright and florecent
They have their own story.
They are good strong walls
That draw attention
and admiration.
These are the walls you talk to.
My wall is hollow
Weak
and has to soft of a voice
to speak
But I have a hidden door
That leads to a secret room
And in the room
You will find my color
Like Vintage wall paper
that has been plastered
and layered over
you will find my color
while remodleing
In my room you will find
my words and my thoughts
the voice of strength
For I am the weak wall
that has yet to give in.
Paint me brightly
Build me strong
And you will find my secret room
Thats been here all along
All you had to do was take an intrest
in me,
in the ordinary
