I sit in my room
Waiting for something to happen
Waiting…
It seems like hours have gone by,
Still nothing to do.
I ask myself
What about me?
I say out loud,
“Life goes on.”
As I lay in my bed,
I stare at the wall
Waiting for sleep.
Waiting…
