A Blind Girl's Frustrations
How do you hold
The Wind in your Hands?
Why can you see
The Light and the Colors,
When I can only see
The Darkness of the Day?
I can feel the Wind
In my Hair,
I can hear the
Trees fight each other
And fight the Wind.
I can feel the Sun’s heat
On my Face, my Toes.
I can feel warm
Beaches, warm Sands.
I can take in
The salty Air or
The Violence of Trees,
The Danger of the Forest.
All You take in is
The beautiful Boy-
Surfer-with-6-pack-
Abs, and the precious
Bunnies that hop
Through the Woods,
White Fluff agleam.
