These Thoughts

I write,
"Kill me."
and erase it.
I write,
"Runaway."
and erase it.
If only
the thoughts
went away
so easily.
There,
one moment,
just to
disappear,
the next.
The thoughts
are always there,
haunting me,
seeking
to destroy
me.
An unwelcome
guest,
that just won't,
go away.
But yet how
can I not
let them
win?
