My Personal Hinderance
I need no premonition
To know the effect
Your actions will have
In my life.
You are my own
Personal hindrance
To the happiness I wish to have…
The damage you have done to me,
The suffering your actions have caused
Can never be taken back…
I finally thought things were going right.
But just like the devil,
You are an expert on corrupting the
Goodness I hold close…
Right when I least expect it.
You’ve horrified everyone you know
Especially those who love you most.
Your very own children.
I have but one question… Why?
I guess there’s nothing more I can do
Then keep myself
Mentally and emotionally prepared.
I’ll always be on my guard now.
You won’t catch me by surprise anymore.
Thanks mom.
