As you make
A funny face at me
From across the room
My heart races
And I make a funny face
Back at you
You crack up
(Silently of course)
Causing me to
Laugh quietly
I roll my eyes
With a smile
That’s when
I made my decision
The funny faces
And silent giggles
Were a sign
A very good sign
