hard heart-break
I’m alone in this dark world,
Crumbling into little pieces each day.
I’m falling like Rome
while you’re rising like New York.
People say love solves everything
When for me it only causes problems.
I’m the one who is running away from it all.
I’m the girl trying to let go of everything that happened between us
But you’re still there.
In my mind all the time.
People say love is a sweet thing,
When it only sends knives through my heart.
I’m the one you left standing here in the rain a long time ago.
The one who still loves you.
The girl that used to be yours.
The one who is still slowly dying from the pain and misery you left me.
