Where Jesus Waits
Hold on tight, don’t let go, don’t let your negative feelings show,
No matter what, I’ll be here; I’ll hold your hand through all the fear,
Just fight the fight, with all your might, and there won’t be any pain or fright,
I know it hurts, I know your scared, just keep on going and I’ll be there,
Because where there’s love, there’s God and prayers,
and where there’s hope, there’s promise and cares,
I don’t care what they say, you’re going to make it, and I will pray...
But now I know, that if you want, It’s okay to go.
It’s okay to show the fear.
It’s okay if it hurts.
And it’s okay if you want to stop fighting.
Because I’ll hold your hand, say my last good byes, watch the tears, in your eyes,
Pray to God, to keep you safe, up in heaven where Jesus waits,
To take you home, and wait for me, because someday too, that’s where I’ll be.
