Journey MAG
The sun sets quickly
As a cold wind passes by
 In a lifeless train station
 You sit, waiting

You board a train going somewhere
 You don't know
 With no communication
 To anyone or anything
Just you and a small, light carry-on.

As you walk down the narrow red aisle
You pass strangers with familiar faces
 Children with your brother's eyes
 Elderly with your friend's smile
And one empty seat waiting for you in the back right corner

To the left of your seat is a shadowy figure
 Completely intangible
Fully hidden beneath a dark black

 It has fingers and legs
 A living silhouette
 Of an undeterminable gender
 Quietly breathing

 You approach it slowly
Focusing on your objective: to sit in your seat
When you reach your row, it looks up and stares
 Waiting for something
Or wanting something, it's hard to make out

And you don't realize it just then, but “It”
Is the only reason why you boarded the train
The only thing that you live for
Starring you right in the face
