Takatifu Usiku
Another long night.
Countless hours of sitting alone, with nothing but the burning fire i needed to tend to.
I had to do something.
Sleepless nights pouring fatigue into my body.
I wander outside in an attempt to gain self conciousness.
The dogs barking in alert at my presence, the cows' steam from their breathing on a cold march morning.
I had to do something.
Walking along the fenceline i could jus make out the shadows of something i could not see.
Something that maybe wasnt even there.
Looking up into the fog covered sky i told myself 'if i see just one star...'
And there it shone.
Like a miniature diamond waiting there in the night.
I knew the answer now.
I had to do something.
But for the time being, the burning fire inside was all i needed to tend to.
