Snowy Springtime
Sullen in the snow
Completely and utterly alone
My body, my hands, my head hidden
Something small to read
Everything to write
The only person who joins is silence
A perfect silence
That is falling snow
I write
I am alone
I read
I am hidden
Forever hidden
In my own silence
I am completely well read
Adventures in the snow
I take alone
Then down to write
Math equations I write
My mood hidden
I try to be alone
Awkward silence
I only now dream of snow
I lose time to read
Nothing to read
Can’t write
Melted away snow
Only my mind is hidden
Broken silence
No longer alone
I am never alone
My schoolbooks I must read
Others break my peaceful silence
No time write
My ambitions safely hidden
Everyone hates snow
While spring blooms, I try to be alone and write
I try to read among trees well hidden
White flowers’ silence only reminds me of snow
