It feels just like yesterday, when my soul, turned vulnerable
Down memory lane is not where we should go
Or should we?
It’s life’s magic ways that make us feel this way
When we let our hearts win, we may lose all control
I feel the drips of rain pour on my shoulder
So cold, so breathtaking like
The tears you placed on my cheeks for weeks
It’s hard to dismiss the encounters of that winter from my mind
For it was radiant and unbelievable
What is this bewilderment I call life
I observe and analyze the complexity of what really occurred
Like Einstein and his equations
I look in the mirror and ask myself, what did I do?
Why did I deserve such cruelty?
The words from the wise, have they turned in to lies?
So much trusted I wish existed from the people I’ve known all my life
But it doesn’t exist
The simplicity answers are not good enough
Give me a reason why I’m writing this
Give me a reason why this all so overwhelming
Give me a reason why there are tears on my face
Give me a reason why you couldn’t love me
Just give me a reason good enough for me
Scream it, laugh it, yell it, or cry it,
Just do it in the middle of this storm
