"We all want to be the victim in our own story."

Secrets are everywhere

Lights fade, in Times Square

The Blackout arrives

Like marching slaves

The Crowd goes wild as

We all scream and wave

If love means to hate

I'll keep my debate

For I feel no pain or,

Dark red strain

In these pretty brown eyes.

As I held the knife to my wrist

The lights of mist

Arose from Times Square

All is blank

Everyone Stares

As the dark sky Blushed

The ambulance Rushed

To bad my moment of fame

Has now been crushed.

I wrote this poem three years ago, I lost a lot of friends, and I thought to dedicate this to them. Some felt secluded, like no one else cared, and others didn't feel they belonged.
