Sweet beauty
Glistening under the dew
Drops of silver water
Resting on the deep green leaves
Quiet, lovely little things
Soaking up every ray of sunlight
Escaping from the shadow of the trees
Growing up
Straight and true
Never daring to hide it’s face
The little flowers
Look forward to each day
And are never afraid of the unknown
For what do they know,
Those little things
Only of sunshine,
Dew, and rain
Of soft breezes
Rustling their petals
And of joy
Sheer bliss
And beauty
Oh to live among the flowers
and learn to live like them
