you said forever
you left me
 when you said
i would be your baby girl forever
 your gone
and now my heart is torn apart
 this grief
 this sorrow
 is suffocating me
 the absence of your heartbeat
 forever screeches in my mind
 like nails against a chalkboard
 the spectrum of color
 that once filled my world
 has been leached by death
 to dull black and gray
the smile i wore so frequent
 once upon a time
 has faded
and left me an emotionless mask
some day's it's hard to breath
other days i can put it off
to be dealt with for another day
 but all of this pain
 coursing through my vain's
 it throbs with my pule
 and burn like a flame
your memory is so slowly becoming dim
 your face
 you smile
 you smell
 your voice
 there's nothing left
 but echoes
 they tourment me
 i will never forget you
but this has broken me far to much
 for me to keep you
 i thought you said forever
