a child is born
in the glow
of new life
some are cut short
just game pieces
in the whole picture
while goodbyes always hurt
memories stay gold
time speeds
and you seem old
but through you
life is renewed
and because of this
I'm an image of you

This is a poem i wrote for my mom on mothers day, its the first time she has ever read one of my poems and she really liked it, i hope you do too.
