I Miss That Thing You Used To Do
Tell me what lies behind your eyes
I see your face but cannot
touch beyond
that stone sculpture you have become inside
I hear your words but they are empty sounds
echoing back to you
for I know they are not true
Tell me what has made you this way
a spiders web of mystery
I used to know you then but now
you are a scarred masterpiece
a shattered shell of yesterdays
The moon is eaten by the sea
and you have fallen far
from my reach
