My Mother
My Mother is the one who sings the lullaby to the scared child
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
My Mother is the one who helps constantly, always insisting to be a good doobie
My Mother is proud of me no matter what
You make me happy, when skies are grey
My Mother is the one who picks me up and helps me rise again, after a terrible problem
My Mother finds the time to listen to problems, because nothing is more important to her than family
My Mother is the one with an opinion worth listening to
You’ll never now dear, how much I love you
My Mother works hard every day, and still manages to look like she’s ready for more, occasionally
My Mother is a soldier, fighting to the very end and full of bravery
My Mother is a creator, either thinking of new fun things to do, or putting an interesting twist on the old things
Please don’t take my sunshine away
My Mother is the best
