Holy?
They say God made me in his own image
But sometimes
I wish he’d molded the clay just a little longer
Into something not only he would recognize.
If God knows what’s in everyone’s heart
If God knows the why for everything
Then it’s gonna be fine.
But sometimes
I think
How much easier it would be
If he showed us too.
I heard God created this earth,
Everything on and beyond it too.
I guess he knew what he was doing
But sometimes I wish he’d left instructions.
They say God made me in his own image
But sometimes I wish he’d worked the clay longer
So everyone else could tell.
