The Old Empty Man
Deep in the dark blocks
 Of the empty, old town
 An old empty man walks
 And wanders all around

The darkness of the night surrounds
With nothing but old buildings around
The quiet whisper of the haunting wind
Illustrates this deceased town's violent end

 The man so old
 He is all alone
 His body so cold
 Dressed in black
 Speaking the words
 Of God…

 The bats fly all around
Screeching at the cold of night
 Fear has almost found
This empty old man of light

 The wind begins to howl
He looks to the church tower
And see's the eyes of the owl
The old man begins to cower

He drops to his trembling knees
And holds his book up high
 Towards the cross and the dead trees;
The old empty man begins to cry

A cold quivers down the man's spine
As he hears the shriek of Mankind
 The clouds cover the moon
 Destroying all light
 The roars surround him

The old empty man in fright
 He knows what is coming
It's the monsters of the night
 And they are set free
To kill the light of He
 Then they begin to feast
 On this old empty priest
