These are my tears
My face stays dry
My finger tips leak
Blue ink
My heart pours
Black words
My mind makes things worse
Emotions don’t speak the same language
As logic
Try and combine them and you get
Lost
Find your way and realize
You’ve fabricated it
Separate them out and notice
You got chocolate on my peanut butter
And
You got peanut butter on my chocolate
Inseparable though
Illogical
Nonsensical
Messy –
So clean it up
Fix it
Still doesn’t make much sense
This is why I cry
But this is why I live
