Doors
I am an ajar door
not the kind a kid leaves open for a night light or so he can escape quickly if the mosters come out from under his bed
I am the kind in a haunted mansion, the deserted house, that no one wants to go in unless they desire to steal the once valuable treasures
my subtle creaks can be more than imagined
it may scare some or intrigue others
a push of an innocent individual would knock the door wide opened
letting a blast of cold air, once trapped inside, flood them
but the kindly individual held captive within keeps the door as deadbolt shut as possible to avoid bistanders getting a chill
I am a door deadbolted shut
