I can stand
Let brotherly love continue, says the Bible.
 I do not question it,
For it seems that when it was written,
 That was right.
But now our wars will kill
Those whose lives collide with the crossfire.
 And still people stand
Do not crumple under the madness or chaos.
 If those in Haiti
 Are still standing
 From Mother Natures wrath,
 Then surely I can, too.
I will not give up hope,
 And I will live.
 I will live to help.
