Inevitable Relationships of Life
A soldier will not stutter
As he reads the death warrant
An old man will not shudder
As they encircle him with the cavalry

The farmer will wait for the hen to lay her eggs
And case them up for sale
The hen’s mate will squawk to beg for their stay
Please place them back upon the bale

 A crazed mother will mutter
If her baby does not sleep
 Time passes, child will putter
With the novelties she’s determined to keep

 An artist will fret
Until his painting is a masterpiece
 The dealer will be distraught
 Until the pastel is bought

 A woman will blush
 With a suggestive look
 A man will pursue her
 In every little nook
