What You See Is So Far From What You Get
Candy coated
Ribbons blowing
Pretty frosting
Polka dotted wrapping
Dark sunglasses
You don’t really see me you see the outside
Sugar and spice
Hair done up
Smile pasted on
Expensive tags
Says all the right things
That’s just who you’ve made me
No one is perfect
If you think they are they they aren’t real
Outside its all good inside they are wrecked
They pretend they don’t feel
The mean things swirling all around them
Because the world is a wonderful place
So put on a haapy face
It makes me sick
To see the pain that they won’t admit
Its not fooling themselves and it aint fooling god
