Felis Catus
The animal
unsatisfied with such banalities
as what was buried in the litter box
hid
as it had in the past
on a branch
crafting its hypotheses
of blastulas and asterisks and atrophies
never asking to be seen
until Thursday when
Marie inquired about the whereabouts of the furball
claiming there were clues in the
pheisty pheline’s photos.
Seemingly
unsatisfied as I was with such banalities
I buried her in the litter box.
