God save us now
Soliders are dying now
Familes are crying now
Lives are being taken now
Who can help us now
When where not making progress now
Now tell me how
You can go off and label life now
So now-a-days old men make rules
Though we the young have to defend
Them on the frontlines
With the possiblilty of dying at anytime
Without the chance of evening saying goodbye
So back home
We can keep on with anything we want
So pray to protect us now
Think of us now
Because we are here now
But by tomorrow we may be gone now
