Amnesia Pills
An 8 by 10 photocopy of my mind
Dreams now available in full color
With no terrible ties with reality
Such a lovely thought to ponder
A little piece of never unhappy
Seems now we would make the greatest couple of strangers
We're just missing the spotless spirits
Trying to forget something sad
Remember the melodies of something else
Not even the Moroccans recall your songs
You would have warned me
I'd like to see the time return
Yesterday and yesteryear
and every this moment between them
Floating on our backs in the Dead Sea
Some lies are for the best
Intentions always well
I'd have gladly thought clouds the cotton candy of the sky
Taking form of those whom we love
Drifting behind the wallpaper mountains
