Phases
I.
I am small,
Breathing new,
Foreign air
An unfamiliar,
Yet generous warmth
Crowds my every sense,
As nameless strangers bear
My delicate body
II.
I am young,
With much to learn
Many times have I been lost,
Stranded among this world
And many others
But I am hopeful,
Strong
III.
I am old,
But I have lived,
Long and great
For this world,
No longer mine,
Is fading fast
