In Absence of Essence
I cannot take in enough
of the essence
of you
who I love
When I leave
I will have to
erase to myself
and make
That emty space
Where I put it all
Too much
To hold in a single brain
Shared with the knowlege
Of absence
Mixes with its sharp tinge
And pull
To make a force
Within a body
Becomes a shell
When dragged in a direction
Opposite
The one which I walk
There,
It holds
In a suspension
Can I keep it
In that frozen state?
It must be fed
Lest it dies
And like a child
cries
And in me
Seems to be all me
And apprehends
All it cannot get
From outside
But there,
Can I freeze it?
Still
I keep it its state
I only hope
It comes
And thaws
When at last
I call it out
Then I will wait
Frozen myself
For the drops to run out
