There is one girl, living in an eternal pose of face-palm
That boy who acts like he has no qualm

The kind person who will never put others down
That wannabe comedian, the “class clown”

A popular jock that plays all sports
The quirky band kid with music of all sorts

The academic achiever who studies for the test
The criminal that couldn’t care less

The gothic girl in the corner, eyes down
The drama queen that pries around

The teens deeply religious, which are up for debate
The non-believing group, who claim “check mate”

Those girls and boys they look the same?
Careful, they are not all tame

High school is full of contradiction
Even if these characters are all fiction

I like this, it's very true. The rhyming and rhythm is great.
