Pavement of Life
Just as the night heralds the moon
My heart holds pain in boon
Not always of mine
But of others in time when a smile doesn't shine
Because, there is no better feeling
Than greshly dried tears
And the chime of laughter in my ears
To you I lift
To you I love
To you all my heart belongs
To you I wil unbreak
My spirit will never shake
From this resolve
Your heart, a puzzle to solve
Bask in my wisdom of healing
My my side, you;ll never be leaving
Live not for me
Live for thee
That is my payment
Your future set in pavement
No longer able to shatter
Though you may falter
I will be there to fix the cracks
By filling the fissures with a smile you lack
