Guess I'll never win.
You used me, and you admitted it. We knew what we were doing, but we did it. You lead me on; you played me. You pretty much betrayed me. You took advantage, you took it all. But you were different - you didn't let me fall. You said you loved me, but you didn't lie. It's just not that kind of love, we go by. And so I sit here alone, down and broken. Because of all the words that were too long left unspoken.
For years, I'd hoped you'd come running my way; I would have never thought I'd be running away. Now I feel like crap, but some blame is on me. I got too excited, too fast, for this 'victory.' It took you three years to start walking my way; at least it only took you minutes to say what you had to say.
For the two days of fun, I'd say we had a good run. Who would've thought that after I'd finally won... we'd be done?
