And, we’re nothing now, of that I’m sure
But I’m willing to admit it;
That sometimes I still think of you,
When it’s late at night,
And I’ve forgotten that I can’t sleep without your voice.
Since the birds, just don’t sing the same lullabys as you did.
And the silence, just can’t whisper stories like you did.
And the moon, just won’t smile as bright as you did.
And, we’re nothing now, Of that I’m definite
But I’m willing to admit,
That sometimes I still miss you
When it’s early in the morning,
And I’ve forgotten that I wont wake up to your voice.
Since, The emptiness just won’t be as warm as you were.
And the sunrises, just aren’t as beautiful as you were.
And the view just isn’t as worth it, without you there.
And we’re nothing now, of that I’m sure,
But I’m willing to admit,
That as much as I missed the everything we were
I will miss the nothing we’ve become.

The author's comments:
If you love someone, and it's truly love, then it's forever,
Or it was never love in the first place.
So I guess, you never really fall out of love, you just learn to live without them.
And that is my moto, <3
