As the frustration leaks through,
so does all the hurt and pain
my thoughts drifting back to you
your pull on my life such a strain

once I felt love and compassion
as you held my heart in Your hands
it was wrapped in such a fashion
only compared to an angel band

confusion starts to sink in
as I ask how could you've been a liar
and the line starts to grow thin
as my veins fill with fire
