what is a wall?
What is a wall?
Is it old and rough,
Dry and crumbly,
Gray and dusty.
Can you fit your fingers in the cracks?
Can you climb it?
Can you see to the other side?
Was it ever a wonder to you why the wall was there?
What is a wall?
Is it new and smooth,
Soft and whole,
Red and clean.
Do you run your fingers over the brick?
Do you ever try to jump it?
Do you ever wonder what is on the other side?
Is it ever a wonder to you why the wall is there?
What is a wall?
Is it sad and gloomy?
Do you stare at it with hate?
Are your feelings expressed through messy scrawls of Arabic and dull Hummddaalaas painted through hope but never answered?
What is a wall?
Is it bright and decorative?
Do you look at it without even knowing that it's there?
Do you ever realize that there are humans on the other side too?

I love your work. I love this one in particular because it expresses the calls of the Palestinians.
I remember when i lived there, I loved looking at all the work on the walls, it was actually beautiful in a way, expressing their feelings through drawing.
Well done!
