Identity
Alas! Alas!
The time has come,
I am ready
I am willing,
come and take
all in your wake,
are you evil
are you good,
two may see
but one understands,
End is near
or is it Beginning
prepare!
for what?
There is nothing!
What am I?
What is
me,
is not
you,
all stays behind,
is it all in
vain?
I am what
I do,
my substance
is of crystal,
indestructible
memories,
that set
us apart,
I am Me
you are You,
I know
what to do,
my value
what remains,
is my
personality,
come Death,
preserve the
unique
are you trying
to be different?

Hey Adam,
I just got the email regarding your poem. I must say, it leaves me wondering....are you talking to yourself in the poem or to someone else?
Also, is the poem meant to be a response to someone/something that encourages everyone to be the same?
All in all, serious good work
just be yourself, it makes you more than unique
