I'm falling too hard, and too fast
Even the brightest stars never last
I fell for you right at the start
But now comes the hardest part
I fell for you too hard and too fast
The bright star isn't going to last
It felt like it happened right on cue
That I began to love you
But, no surprise, you broke my heart
Hearing it from the sweetest person was the hardest part
But I fell too hard and too fast
I was a bright star, and I didn't last.
