I’m outspoken with no words to speak
I’m strong but yet my knees are weak
I try to fly, my wings are broke
I do not smile but yet I joke?
You understand? I wish you did
I’m more than just a little kid
I have my thoughts and words to say
You shrug them off and say “go play”
Close your eyes and I’m still here
I promise I wont disappear
By time I’m better you’ll be old
Like dirt
and you’ll be the one
Who is stuck with the hurt.
